The opportunity:
In this role you will be accountable for defining, leading and implementing an activation calendar of shopper initiatives across traditional trade customers and LKA traditional trade customers to deliver our channel performance ambitions and grow our category as well as our market share within it. The role includes strategic planning, activity development, measurement & evaluation, briefing / development, execution and performance tracking.
Responsibilities
Your impact:
As a Shopper Activation Executive (Snacks and Beverages), your role will consist of:
· Develop shopper activation annual strategy and plans to maximise the business opportunity across all TT customers and LKA from traditional trade for our entire portfolio of brands (Pepsi , Pepsi Max, Lays, Doritos, etc).
· Develop differentiated shopper marketing programming grounded in brand, consumer, shopper and retailer insights
· Work with agency partners, Brand Teams and Sales Teams to develop and execute promotional and customer specific programs to deliver breakthrough creative that builds brand equity at retail and drives beverage category results
· Align customer and internal Brand Teams on customer relevant programs & strategies
· Fully support Shopper Marketing strategy development and program sell-in with customer and retail execution partners
· Promote/develop new ways to activate at retail, including communication and coordination with Field Marketing team
· Develop strong working relationships with internal PepsiCo teams as well as external customer teams, including sales, marketing, insights, innovation and operations
· Provide rigorous analysis of marketing plan results and recommendations for future programming
· Build & manage strong partnerships with best in class Agencies, and leverage as extensions of Shopper Marketing to further capacity and impact
· Lead and manage a team of two direct reports
Qualifications
If you have these skills, we`d be happy to meet you:
· University degree
· Minimum 3 years commercial experience (sales, trade and brand management)
· Must demonstrate professional maturity – ability to manage up/down, strong interpersonal skills for interaction with internal/external senior leaders
· Strong Collaboration and Project Management skills
· Strong analytical skills
· Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
· Ability to effectively collaborate, communicate and influence in a matrix environment.
· Creative thinking and problem solving skills
· Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships
· Finance experience is a plus.
