Job Description

This role is key to ensuring the right skill mix is in place on shift to deliver against plan, using QCDM and Lean tools to verify compliance to Standard Work ensuring a cost effective approach to all tasks. This role will report into the Shift Operations Manager and work 4 on/4 off (2x12 hour days, 2x12 hour nights, 4 off).

The key responsibilities for the role are:

·  Ensure Core and Agency staff are trained and in position to deliver shift targets (confirming and agreeing agency hours with agency provider)
·  Gather data and attend 24hr QCDM meeting, highlighting any risks with manning moving forward and any mitigating actions
·  Facilitate 4hourly QCDM meeting
·  Confirm PPM manning to Engineering department, commensurate with delivery of all engineering plans
·  Using the QCDM processes ensure standard work is being followed in all zones
·  Gather information for SOM review ahead of any return to work or people meetings
·  Lead all hold recall and rework on shift, organising labour and supplying data to QFS department
·  Lead bin stock count activities and any follow up on shift
·  Participate in any BRC/AIB on shift work streams (audits etc)
·  Ensure good labour control on shift for all activities including PM activitie

Qualifications/Requirements

Experiences and competencies required:

·  Experience in a manufacturing environment
·  Working understanding of QCDM processes
·  Able to deal discreetly with confidential information
·  Good communication and people interaction skills, including the ability to coach and mentor
·  Excellent IT skills with good working knowledge of MS Office (Excel is essential)
·  Understanding of shift financial inputs and outputs
·  Able to interact confidently at all levels and be able to deliver 4hrly QCDM Meetings
·  Sound knowledge of AIB and BRC Standards and their day to day impact
·  Able to interpret data to highlight opportunity areas to the SOM
