Note this is a temporary position with a duration of 12 months
Responsibilities
Your day to day with us:
· Serve as a proficient resource for EU/Iberia food regulations, offering expertise on their application to all PepsiCo products in South West Europe and export markets.
· Provide and implement guidance and training for the business to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Act as the regional expert on ingredients within the Foods & Beverages portfolio and ensure compliance with regulations related to product manufacturing and health claims.
· Collaborate with partners to ensure adherence to all aspects of regional food legislation, covering manufacturing, composition, labeling, and advertising.
· Work closely with the local manufacturing plants to maintain ongoing compliance with food regulations.
· Manage the revision and issuance of labeling documentation, approve artworks, and support the tracking of portfolio status based on internal and external nutritional criteria.
· Provide comprehensive partnership and support to innovation/NPD projects, including addressing labelling requirements, interpretational guidance on claims and positioning, as well as aspects of advertising and promotion governed by food legislation.
· Monitor regulatory changes in the region and collaborate with the Regulatory team to develop positions and respond to all regulatory developments.
Qualifications
What will you need to succeed?
· Proven track record (minimum 1 year experience) in Regulatory Affairs, preferably gained within the Food Industry.
· Comprehensive understanding of Iberia/Regional and EU food regulations, particularly areas relating to product design, labelling and manufacture
· Knowledge of labelling and advertising/marketing rules, and experience in interpreting and applying them
· Strong executional capability and project management skills
· Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish language
· Ability to provide insight to the business from tactical perspective
