Internship Description:
A summer intern with the R&D Regulatory Affairs team,you will participate in our 12 week program providing the framework surrounding Compliance. Within that pillar, you will work in the Regulatory Affairs team, and will learn how interpret and apply US FDA and USDA ingredient, product and labeling regulations to assure compliance of our portfolio and the ultimate accuracy of finished product ingredient statements, nutrition facts, allergen declarations and claims.
Qualifications/Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
· Currently pursuing a Nutrition Science, Food Science, or related Science degree, with an emphasis or prior internship in Regulatory preferred. Or a completed B.S. in the above disciplines and currently pursuing Political Science, Public Policy, Law, Nutrition Science, Food Science, related Science, or Regulatory Affairs graduate degree
· Must graduate with final Bachelor’s and/or Master’s and/or Doctorate degree within one (1) year of internship completion
· Past work experience in CPG Regulatory Affairs field preferred
· Eligible to work in United States without work authorization sponsorship
· Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into strategic and tactical project goals and objectives
· Proven ability to manage multiple assignments/ tasks, and to work independently and co-operatively with other individuals
· Detail oriented and critical thinker
· Strong communication (oral and written) and influencing skills. Fluent in English, proficiency in foreign languages preferred
· Ability to adapt to constantly changing circumstances
· Willingness to travel and to take on an international assignment 2-3 years after graduation
· Actual working location will be determined at point of offer: Barrington, Plano, Valhalla
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree: Candidates should be completing their junior year of studies
· Masters/PhD degree: Candidates should be completing at least their first year of studies
· This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
