Responsibilities

The Opportunity

This role will support the Canadian eComm team in the design & creation of compelling eCommerce content & eCommerce marketing campaign assets, including but not limited to digital asset promotions across. The role manages the e2e workflow from brief through to asset creation and distribution to relevant customer teams e.g. for CDN: Amazon, Costco, Sobeys, Save on Foods, Uber Eats and Amazon Advertising. The multimedia content art role will also be required to develop tiles for our digital listing pages, this would include lifestyle images, video content, and customer specific content. This role will also maintain the library of digital assets (including Mobile ready hero images, hero claims, branded nutritional tiles and ingredients, video and search engine optimized written copy that is published from an external agency).

The Multimedia Content Art role is a specialist with a specific skillset centered around art direction and design. A successful art must have a proficient level of understanding and functional capability in software designed for creation of graphics and designs from scratch, ability to edit and manipulate creative, and will be responsible for the development and creation of production ready graphics. You will also participate in brainstorming and creative brand strategy sessions including ideation of consumer programs, long term campaigns, content creation and development.

 

Your Impact  

As Multimedia Content Art (PFC eComm) your functions would consist of:

·  Functional Responsibilities:
·  Gather & prioritize campaign briefs, schedule & ensure time is allocated & service levels achieved.
·  Digital banner asset creation for the promotion of items on eCommerce sites and apps (Amazon, Costco, Sobeys, Instacart, Save on Foods, Uber Eats), as well as across external ad networks (e.g., Amazon Advertising).
·  Develop best practices for the creation of conversion-oriented ad units for use on eGrocery, pureplay and Rapid Delivery customer sites.
·  The creation of lifestyle and product bundle images used to merchandise products on eCommerce sites (e.g., Amazon “A+” standards for Walmart, Loblaws, Sobeys/Voila, Metro, Costco, Instacart, Save On Food, Fed Coop, Uber Eats, 7 Eleven ).
·  Create seasonal templates for various forms of advertising media.
·  Ability to build graphic and print designs and concepts when needed.
·  Adaptation of existing Key Visuals for: Digital Toolkits, Social Media Posts, Sizzle Videos, Digital Ads (animated and statics), among others.
·  Create compelling content visuals for desktop, TV, electronic devices, web programs, smartphones, mobile platforms and apps.
·  Partner with eComm account managers, marketing teams, customer marketing teams and their respective agencies, helping to identify opportunities to integrate ecommerce creative into existing marketing plans.
·  Lead Brand store development on Amazon and Walmart, along with A+ Content (Below the fold content).
·  Generate fresh, new and innovative art graphics within brand and design standards to support all distribution channels, social media and marketing initiatives.
·  Determine how best to represent a brand concept visually, specifically regarding art / graphic design.
·  Be a brand guardian, following brand guidelines closely.
·  Have the ability to take control of projects and work independently as well as in team.
·  Detail oriented, with an ability to prioritize, multi-task, and stay organized while responding to last minute requests and adapt to changes on business trends.
·  Oversee the creation of lifestyle and product bundle images in (partnership with an agency) used to merchandise products across ALL retail customers in Canada (~30+ customers).
·  Lead the development and collaboration with several cross-functional stakeholders for an eComm content approvals process; learning how to work together; overcoming barriers etc.
·  Content sustainment of existing tiles that are integrated to external agency, will be required to review and provide direction on how to improve them and ensure they hit brand guardrails (Mobile Ready Hero Images, Hero Claims, and Search Engine Optimized Product Descriptions which are completed through external agency).
·  Key activities the role would include:
·  Receiving & managing briefs, prioritizing work.
·  Developing creative concepts that respond to the brief – often part of wider marketing campaigns.
·  Seeking & incorporating feedback through structured review progress.
·  Creating relevant ‘final’ campaign assets – including multiple format banners, headlines, copy.
·  Creating compelling product detail pages with content optimized for search & commercial performance.
·  Publishing & distributing campaign & core product assets on time.
·  Outside the core objective, this role would also actively participate in:
·  Workflow management improvement, service levels & tracking.
·  Campaign performance & commercial review.
·  Creative brainstorming.
·  Test & learn approach to continually improve.
·  Ad hoc design work – including user experience concepts for testing, wire framing & shopper journey work.
·  Ad hoc creative work, including video production.
·  Create & update design playbooks – leveraging & defining best practice for campaign & eComm product execution.

Qualifications

¿Who Are We Looking For?

·  Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field (advertising, graphic design, visual arts, interactive design, etc.).
·  +2 years of agency creative experience in creative, art / graphic design.
·  Demonstrated ability to produce banner images, product mockups, and other creative assets which drive click through and conversion-to-purchase (performance mindset is critical).
·  Experience with creative teams in agency or in-house agency environments.
·  Language proficiency both in English and Spanish is a must for this role (FLUENT ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS ARE COMPULSORY).
·  Experience in CPG a plus.
·  Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and account teams.
·  An online portfolio showing a variety of digitial, multi-platform, standout work is a MUST.
·  Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Jira, After Effects or above.
·  Motion and 3D Skills will be great for this role.
·  Strong problem-solving, communications, and relationship-building skills.
·  Presentation skills and proven ability to influence creative decision making are a must.
·  Self-motivation and ability to motivate others to creatively and strategically solve multiple problems at once, under quick deadlines.
·  Ability to brainstorm in large groups and develop big promotional ideas from beginning to end.
·  Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign CS5 or above.
·  Knowledge of PowerPoint and Keynote.
