Job Description

Directly managing ca. 20 Seasoning & Ingredients suppliers within Foods category and across ESSA. Some contract manufacturing and supplier sites are also getting service from this role.

·  Accountable for Purchasing Seasonings & Ingredients with a value of $21MM .

·  Accountable for 20 suppliers within ESSA.

This role is responsible for supporting the MSO Category Lead in the execution of long term and short term local categories sourcing strategies to deliver business performance through the usage of relevant resources and network using GP processes and best practices.

Accountabilities
·  Supports category strategy over a multi-year horizon and ensures delivery of AOP targets, price variance tracking, successful supplier interaction & negotiation.
·  Supports contract execution, supplier coordination, competitive benchmarking and works with local business to solve any supply issues
·  Manages change management processes that are required to deliver productivity targets or support market innovation.
·  Issues business awards to suppliers after G4 approvals through Briefcase system
·  Manages price list updates with suppliers and initiate BPA updates accordingly
·  Supports and executes BCP process in close cooperation with central R&D/QA/VA
·  Executes local category strategies that create competitive advantage for the business
·  Lead monthly VE project reviews with R&D Region Leads (Discussion of development updates, blockages/risks, timeline updates, gate inputs, etc.) for in-plan and pipeline
·  Supports MSO Category Lead in the execution of legal contracts for local suppliers
·  As control owner the role is responsible to ensure that all Key Controls under his/her responsibility based on the
·  Apply Global Control Standards in the processes under his/her accountability, comply with GP Policy and other applicable policies as periodically updated and communicated, and ensure correct execution and documentation of controls.
