Responsibilities

The Opportunity

 

This role is to provide data and analytics support to the HQ Sustainability teams. The nature of the work is proactive and must be able to alert key stakeholders quickly.  This role is responsible for creation of reporting for the Sustainability Team. The role includes data analysis score carding, financial reporting, key performance indicator report generation, and issue resolution.

The Business Analyst will operate within a team of database developers, data analysts, data engineers, and software engineers to produce simpler, faster, and more insightful solutions for supply chain performance managers, decision makers, specialists and frontline personnel.

 

Business Analyst’s primary responsibilities include:  

·  Become familiar with the business use cases, technologies, and solution best practices of key reports, tools, dashboards, ETL processes, and apps our team supports.
·  Serve as the technical support and enhancement request primary point of contact for our team.
·  Help improve the reliability of the key reports, tools, dashboards, ETL processes, and apps our team supports.
·  Monitor, complete, and quality control scheduled weekly technical tasks.

Your Impact

 

 As MBS Sustainability Business Analyst your functions would consist of:

General:

·  Help improve the reliability of the key reports, tools, dashboards, ETL processes, and apps our team supports.
·  Apply proper prioritization and leverage available support options (your expertise, experts, diagnostic tools, documentation, how-to videos, etc.) as necessary to ensure issue and enhancement requests are satisfactoriliy addressed.
·  Enhance existing pep+ glidepath tools for sector.
·  Receive technical support and enhancement requests from internal Business teams or Users, seek clarification as necessary, research root cause/create a plan, complete request, and communicate status back to requestors.
·  Monitor successful data updates and availability (e.g., user permissions) of the published Tableau and PowerBI dashboards our team supports.
·  Complete weekly scheduled technical tasks on time, resolve any discrepancies, escalate to other team members and/or communicate with business teams as necessary.
·  Keep solution documentation up to date (common issues, how-to instructions, and enhancement detail)

External (value chain):

·  Help in planning, communications, execution, and tracking of Sustainability Summit events
·  Facilitate the process for 3PM annual survey sumbissions including tracking data submissions, conducting quality assurance on submitted data, managing communications to suppliers, conducting quality assurance on submitted responses, answering questions about the survey form/accessing portal, etc.
·  Complete data analysis, including annual maturity model & segmentation analysis for 3PM, data analysis on 2x/yr 3PL bid datasets, ad hoc modeling requests, etc. 
·  Support in managing, compiling, and updating pep+ Plans/glidepaths for 3PM
·  Monitor, triage requests, and help respond to questions in SPA box
·  Develop key supplier scorecards
·  Provide glidepath modeling support

Internal (company-owned sites):

·  Manage pep+ dashboard for internal sites, reconcile missing data, utilize period data to build scorecards for Period Performance Reviews. 
·  Develop and maintain national and site level water and climate glidepaths by site including tracking of tactic list by site
·  Financial performance tracking and communication – CAPEX and OPEX actuals and VTP weekly and period worksheets and performance.
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

 

·  Fluent in English
·  Bachelor’s degree in Business/operations, Engineering or similar field preferred
·  Power BI, Power App, SQL or Tableau experience is a plus
·  Python experience required
·  Supply Chain or Sustainability experience preferred
·  Ability to effectively communicate in a professional and constructive manner internally and with suppliers
·  Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in order to formulate effective action plans to deal with issues proactively
·  Produce/review various performance reports to drive results
·  Manage communications through phone, email, fax, mail, etc.
·  Advanced/Proficient Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel)
·  Strong passion for customer service and Warehouse excellence
·  Ability to effectively interact and build a favorable business relationship with internal and external customers
·  Able to assist with account management duties
·  Strong team player and committed to teamwork in all situations
·  Excellent written and oral communications skills
·  Demonstrated ability to leveraging system and tools
