Overview
PepsiCo Graduate Programme is 2 year program designed for high potential graduate students, just like you, into real life business impact roles – with the goal to best prepare you for a successful future. We are now looking to hire an EHS Graduate to join the team in Cork, Ireland starting next year for the duration of 2 years, starting in September 2024.
Who We are:
· We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi.
· We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands.
· We are a global organisation, situated in 15 locations across 6 countries offering careers in various functions from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Finance, R&D, HR and IT.
· We collaborate in our fast-paced global organisation and are passionate about creating and delivering much-loved household brands to markets across the world.
Responsibilities
Role Responsibilities:
· Undertaking initiatives that will support the PGCS Global EHS Director in the delivery of key sector EHS Strategy Objectives, such as
- Culture Based Safety
- Employee EHS Training solutions
- Risk Reduction / Compliance programmes.
- Pepsico Positive (Pep+) environmental sustainability agenda.
· Working collaboratively and cross functionally with EHS teams at other PGCS sites by providing EHS updates, support and advice.
· Assisting with reporting, investigating and recording of EHS Metrics, accident, incident data promptly, ensuring corrective actions are identified and tracked to implementation in the corporate myEHS Management system.
· Partnering with the PGCS Global Environmental Manager and Health & Safety Manager to Departments to accomplish PGCS EHS Strategy Objectives.
Qualifications
Essential Criteria:
· Undertaking a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) field or Engineering.
· Good communication & analytical skills.
· Team Player.
· Excellent people skills.
· Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
· Self-starter, self-sufficient and eager to learn.
· Strong IT Skills in Word & Excel
