The Opportunity
PepsiCo operates in an environment undergoing immense and rapid change. Big data and digital technologies are driving business transformation that is unlocking new capabilities and business innovations in areas like eCommerce, mobile experiences, and IoT. The key to winning in these areas is being able to leverage enterprise data foundations built on PepsiCo’s global business scale to enable business insights, advanced analytics, and new product development.
PepsiCo’s Data Management and Operations (DMO) team is tasked with the responsibility of managing the end-to-end process for the creation and maintenance of master data across four main operational business domains: materials, customers, vendors, and finance. The DMO team also ensures high-quality master data across enterprise systems.
This role requires a proactive contributor who has the energy and skills to solve organization process challenges, understand the functional domain of Global DMO and propose and implement solutions tailored to the business and the services team. This person will partner with the Global DMO Sector leads and Market DMO Champions, as well as PEX teams across the globe, in setting up capability/service management and governance strategy as well as driving process improvements. One of the main areas of focus in cross-capability space is performance management & reporting which will require this role’s leadership to implement improvements across all Global DMO Services.
Responsible for working within the global data team and with their local businesses to maintain alignment to the Data Management and Operations (DMO) processes, rules and standards set to ensure data is fit for purpose, with a particular focus on providing support to the PepsiCo Global transformation.
Your Impact.
As Global DMO GBS Process Excellence (PEX) Champion Assoc Manager your scope would consist of:
· Design, implement, deploy and maintain process improvement initiatives to simplify our ways of work, minimize redundancy and manual repetitive tasks and manage mor effectively our resources. (time, people, budget, tools).
· Help establish the process measurement and metrics reporting methodology for Global DMO Capability, enabling the capability leader and capability managers across GBS Hubs to use a standard language and framework
· Design and drive common Performance Management & Reporting framework for all of Global DMO capabilities to ensure consistent SLA and KPI reporting across the entire function
· Design, implement and maintain any process excellente iniatives under the Governance and Operating Guidelines of the Global GBS PEX organization
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Key skills and experience required:
· Strong project/program management skills
· Broad understanding of master data management processes
· Broad knowledge of master data management technologies/solutions (SAP workflow, MDG, Winshuttle, GDQ/IDQ, PowerBI, etc.)
· Experience in managing and/or implementing RPA solutions across business processes
· Continuous improvement experience/mindset, with focus on processes
· Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist teams to solve operational issues
· Understanding of performance & reporting management frameworks supported by experience in establishing common, cross-area reporting standards
· Initiative and proven ability to drive change
· Ability to influence, persuasive and strong in change management
· Strong communication skills in English and Spanish
· Experience in continuous improvement tools and method, in Lean, DMAIC, Kaizen, etc.
· LSS Green belt certification or higher is preferred
Differentiating competencies required:
· Experience in Shared Services organizations and developing/improving processes
· Proficiency in data collection and analysis, value stream mapping, process capability, analysis, financial impact, and root-cause identification
