The Digital Products and Services team within PepsiCo’s global Strategy and Transformation group is tasked with articulation of the vision, execution and implementation of PEP’s next generation global digital products and data infrastructure. The Digital Product Management is not only responsible for creating roadmaps, delivering data and software solutions but will also be accountable for the resultant business improvement and outcomes.

Responsibilities

The position of Product Manager will play a crucial role to drive the vision, requirements and roadmap for Global Holistic Cost Transformation to unlock >$15MM in business value by using digital solutions and data driven optimization to minimize costs in our supply chain and manufacturing.

The scope will include working closely with the Global supply chain leaders and program managers to develop and deliver key integrated data foundations, application architecture, and products to manage our Manufacturing Labor, Overhead, Utility and waste costs. These critical products will generate business value in cost savings as well as by helping meet our global sustainability and Pep+ goals.

 

Major Tasks, Accountabilities and Key Responsibilities: 

·  Create the roadmap to building and delivering Manufacturing Labor and Manufacturing Overhead products to help global Supply chain identify and reduce utility and labor costs and help delivery against energy and utility savings targets
·  Identify the right business stakeholders and collaborators to develop a business case to align Data + Analytics/Digital Products & Solutions/functional leadership
·  Align key business stakeholders – global and sector Supply Chain senior leadership
·  Deliver solutions through data platforms following established data management principles and solutions built on universal application platform
·  Manage an agile team of data engineers, scientists, service designers and software engineers to define product features, design and capability and execute build and delivery for the committed scope and timelines with the stakeholders
·  Make appropriate tradeoffs in user experience, delivery timelines and resource needs to meet business expectations
·  Manage digital investment of >$5MM over a 2-3 year horizon
·  Proactively find synergies across other global programs in Supply Chain and Sustainability to broaden the value realization of the manufacturing process foundation and application architecture
·  Proactively communicate “executive-ready” strategy, roadmap, milestones and outcomes for all deliverables to a global audience or partners and stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits:

·  The expected compensation range for this position is between $125,000 - $217,500 based on a full-time schedule.
·  Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
·  Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
·  Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

·  5+ years of digital product management with experience creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment, or relevant experience in a technology function
·  Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience
·  Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision.
·  Strong knowledge and experience in agile methodologies, experience working with multiple scrum teams on simultaneous builds
·  Experience managing daily technical and design direction
·  Bachelor’s Degree, Masters a plus
