The Opportunity

The focus on share of market has never been stronger in PepsiCo and the need for this new role has arisen under this context: Consumer-centricity has never been more critical to PepsiCoà The Insights team delivers growth opportunities for the company through a collection of tools that observe/ research consumer behavior online and offline.

GBS Insights has evolved to observe/ research consumer behaviour in a way that has never been possible before – from accessing cultural information, category prediction and consumer habits to inform strategic direction and AOP opportunities , to evaluate our brand equity, communication and uncovering new ways to elevate our creativity. This role holds the key for our products growth in relevance . The impact this role can cause in the business as well as it´s visibility is huge as interacts with LG+ stakeholders from Marketing, Insights, R&D, Communication and Global Capability; sits within GBS and enables Key Stakeholders to unlock share of market, based on deep consumer trends understanding:

·  This role is THE key enabler to connect specific sector needs (PBNA) with solutions, it will be responsible for delivering top notch consultancy based on compelling consumer insights for our brands and BU´s.
·  By focusing on the needs and preferences of the target market today and in the future, this role helps the company to create and communicate products that meet consumer needs and ultimately drive growth.
·  By putting consumer-centricity at the core of our business, this role is responsible of developing a deep understanding of people needs and preferences, as well as the competitive landscape.
·  Informs the development of new products and services as well as improving existing offers / communication style. This role ensures that consumer feedback is incorporated into different aspects of the business (MKT, Insights, R&D).
·  Key to bring strategic thinking and identify specific culture/ people learnings around the world which can be leveraged at scale, as well as spotting any potential threats ahead of time.
·  Drives effective communication with key stakeholders.
·  Leads a team of 5+ associates, continuously develops talent ensuring career paths are clear and available for teams in sector and Global capabilities.

Your Impact  

As Consumer Insights Manager your scope would consist of:

·  Insights Manager ensures the organization is asking the right questions to better understand people/ markets around the world:
·  Actively participates in the Integrated Planning Process ensuring we are leveraging our capability.
·  Works closely with Sector Stakeholders to define key strategic questions to be addressed by the capability.
·  Plans and oversees the conduction of projects, analysis and recommendations for the business.
·  Drives conversations throughout various business areas (R&D, Insights, etc) to ensure action based in delivered insights is happening.
·  Develops the talent ensuring proper growth and development for the team.
Qualifications

¿Who Are We Looking For?

·  Strong leadership, drive, organizational and interpersonal skills. Comfortable managing trade-offs and resolving conflict.
·  Experience managing a culturally diverse senior stakeholder group.
·  Passionate about consumer understanding, society, culture and trends.
·  Experience at managing multi-country / functional projects. Able to work within a matrix organization and manage multiple stakeholders.
·  Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
·  Strong knowledge of insights, qualitative and quantitative techniques.
·  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to influence and demonstrate confidence in communications with senior level managementà Storytelling.
·  Strong project management skills; track record of overseeing a portfolio of transformation projects.
·  Self-motivated/self-starter with the ability to work independently.
·  Solid presentational skills.
·  Ability to travel up to 30% of time to meet business partners.
·  Resilient
