As a Communication Sr.Manager - Brand PR, your primary responsibility is to lead and oversee the public relations efforts for the PepsiCo brand and its portfolio of products, with a focus on KSA and UAE. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive PR strategies to enhance the brand's reputation and manage media relations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align PR efforts with overall business objectives. Additionally, you will support the larger Middle East Corporate Affairs agenda as needed.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement PR strategies: Create and execute comprehensive PR strategies specifically tailored for PepsiCo and its brands. This includes setting objectives, identifying target audiences, developing media relations plans, and overseeing the execution of PR campaigns.

 

Media relations/engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and influencers. Manage media interviews and interactions, including developing key messages and talking points for media engagements.

 

Crisis management: Serve as the main point of contact for managing and mitigating any potential crises or issues that may affect the reputation of PepsiCo or its brands. Develop crisis communication plans, coordinate responses, and provide guidance to the team during crisis situations.

 

Content development: Oversee the development of compelling and engaging PR content, including press releases, media kits, speeches, and other materials. Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across all communication channels.

 

Stakeholder management: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including media contacts, industry influencers, and internal teams within PepsiCo. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other departments to align PR efforts and maximize brand exposure.

 

Event management : Oversee the planning and execution of press conferences, brand activations, and other relevant events. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event execution and media coverage.

 

Monitoring and analysis: Monitor media coverage and public sentiment related to PepsiCo and its brands. Analyze PR campaigns' effectiveness, track key metrics, and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Use insights to refine strategies and tactics as needed.

Qualifications

·  Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
·  Proven experience in PR, preferably in the food and beverage industry or a related consumer goods sector.
·  Strong leadership and management skills.
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
·  Demonstrated experience in media relations and spokesperson management.
·  Crisis management experience and the ability to handle sensitive issues.
·  Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute PR strategies aligned with business objectives.
·  Familiarity with digital PR and social media platforms.
·  Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
·  Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
