The Serenity Center Manager at Miraval The Red Sea is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Serenity Center, ensuring an exceptional and mindful wellness experience for all guests. This role integrates mind-body practices, immersive well-being offerings, and personal growth initiatives while promoting mindful upselling and cross-selling . The Serenity Center Manager will collaborate closely with the Revenue team to enhance revenue generation, drive guest engagement, and ensure a seamless experience. In addition, the role involves managing guest bookings , supporting the scheduling team, and developing achievable and motivational goals for staff, while following Miraval’s core philosophy of well-being and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Implementation:
• Design, develop, and oversee immersive well-being programs , including yoga, meditation, breathwork, creative expression workshops, and other integrative wellness experiences.
• Collaborate with well-being practitioners and facilitators to deliver an integrative, mindful approach to guest experiences.
• Curate and manage specialized programs and mind-body rituals that reflect Miraval’s core values of self-discovery.
• Ensure all programs adhere to the highest safety standards and are culturally sensitive in line with Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Monitor guest feedback and continuously improve program offerings to exceed guest expectations, focusing on increasing positive guest feedback and meeting KPIs for satisfaction surveys.
Guest Experience & Engagement:
• Lead and inspire guests through mindful, tailored well-being experiences , fostering deep connections and emotional exploration.
• Provide personalized well-being consultations , helping guests achieve balance and transformation in their wellness journey.
• Act as a mentor , encouraging guests to engage with various wellness practices and guiding them to deepen their connection with their personal growth .
• Mindfully promote and upsell paid programs and personal one-on-one experiences to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Actively refine and adapt offerings based on guest needs and current wellness trends, while cross-selling Miraval services to provide a comprehensive experience.
Systems Management & Operational Oversight:
• Ensure the accurate creation , scheduling, and maintenance of guest bookings , classes, workshops, and private sessions.
• Work closely with the scheduling team to ensure seamless coordination and efficient management of appointments and availability.
• Develop and manage SOPs for all software applications used to streamline program delivery and staff coordination, ensuring all technical systems run smoothly.
• Collaborate with the Revenue team to optimize resource utilization and increase revenue through guest bookings and program offerings.
• Oversee and ensure seamless operation of updating program schedules , addressing scheduling issues, and maintaining operational flow. Ensure that all equipment and spa amenities are organized and in place, ready for each scheduled treatment or session.
· Monitor cleanliness standards across these wellness spaces, ensuring they meet Miraval’s high standards for hygiene and guest comfort.
· Report any operational issues , maintenance needs, or cleanliness concerns immediately to the concerned department and seek assistance to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
· Ensure that all wellness spaces are kept in optimal condition to provide a relaxing and hygienic environment for guests.
Team Management & Development:
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of wellness practitioners, yoga instructors, and specialists to ensure the highest standards of guest experience.
• Set achievable and motivational goals for the team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and growth.
• Develop and provide ongoing training materials to enhance team performance, focusing on improving program delivery, sales, and knowledge of Miraval’s philosophy .
• Foster a team-centered environment that enhances the delivery of well-being experiences.
• Manage and track staff productivity and performance, conducting regular performance reviews to ensure staff is meeting the department’s goals and Miraval’s standards.
Strategic Growth & Innovation:
• Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships with wellness experts, local communities, and industry leaders to enhance Miraval’s offerings.
• Stay current with emerging wellness trends and incorporate innovative wellness practices into the program offerings.
• Collaborate with third-party companies to provide additional talent and expertise, supporting the growth and development of the programs.
• Assist in marketing and promotional efforts, including creating content, representing Miraval at wellness events, and attracting new guests.
• Drive positive reviews across social platforms and review sites, building the brand’s online reputation.
• Continuously assess and improve wellness program performance, focusing on increasing guest engagement, revenue, and KPIs.
• Align all program developments with Miraval’s overarching philosophy of fostering mindful , purpose-driven living .
• Drive revenue growth and ensure efficient management of the area and budget, consistently maximizing revenue performance.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or Formal Training, Certifications in Integrative Health , Mindfulness Studies , Wellness Management , Hospitality Management , or related fields.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership role within luxury wellness resorts , integrative health centers , or mindful retreat spaces.
• Certification in Yoga , Meditation , Breathwork , or other wellness modalities ( RYT-200/500 , etc.) preferred.
• Strong understanding of mindfulness , Eastern and Western wellness practices , and integrative wellness therapies.
• Exceptional leadership skills , with the ability to pivot and adapt to evolving priorities and resources.
• Experience working in multicultural environments with sensitivity to Saudi Arabian culture and wellness industry standards.
• Proficiency in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus).
Skills & Abilities:
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills , with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups.
• Strong organizational skills to manage guest bookings , staff schedules , and all aspects of well-being programming .
• Ability to adapt artistic workshops and wellness offerings to meet the needs of individuals with varying levels of experience and personal goals.
• Empathetic and responsive to guest needs, fostering a supportive and empowering environment.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as email, word processing, and spreadsheets for program management and scheduling.
• Ability to model mindfulness and integrate it into creative practices, while also mentoring and developing team members.
