We are looking for a reliable and guest-oriented Cashier to manage transactions and support the smooth operation of our restaurant. As part of the service team, you’ll help create a warm and welcoming dining experience while ensuring accurate and secure handling of payments.

Your Role in the Restaurant

· Greet guests with professionalism, warmth, and genuine hospitality.
· Manage billing processes including payments, voids, and cancellations in line with company policies.
· Maintain an accurate cash float and reconcile transactions at the beginning and end of shifts.
· Ensure the POS system and cashier drawer are secure and not left unattended.
· Upsell food and beverage items where appropriate based on guest preferences.
· Provide menu guidance with a clear understanding of dietary restrictions and promotions.
· Support the team during service periods and assist with floor duties when required.
· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the cashier station in accordance with health and safety standards.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

·  Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or high-volume restaurant setting.
·  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-focused environment.
·  Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
·  Attention to detail, especially when processing payments and balancing accounts.
·  Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
·  Able to remain calm and professional during busy service hours.
·  Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
