The Control Room Operator is responsible for monitoring the hotel’s security surveillance systems to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property. The role involves identifying and responding to security risks, incidents, and violations in accordance with established protocols and policies.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the security and safety of the hotel, its guests, and employees while maintaining strict adherence to privacy and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Monitor live and recorded footage from CCTV systems to detect unusual activities or potential security breaches.
· Ensure all cameras and surveillance systems are functioning properly and report any malfunctions promptly.
· Maintain situational awareness of hotel premises and coordinate with on-ground security personnel when needed.
· Respond swiftly to security alerts, suspicious activities, and emergencies.
· Document and report incidents, including time-stamped footage and relevant observations.
· Assist law enforcement or hotel management with video evidence when required.
· Handle all surveillance data in compliance with the hotel’s data privacy policies and local regulations.
· Limit access to CCTV footage to authorized personnel only and maintain confidentiality at all times.
· Assist with the management of access control systems and monitor restricted areas.
· Support guest safety by collaborating with other departments in the event of fire alarms, evacuations, or medical emergencies.
· Conduct regular checks of surveillance equipment to ensure operational readiness.
· Stay updated on hotel security policies, standard operating procedures, and industry best practices.
· Participate in ongoing training programs for safety and security enhancements.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Qualifications and Skills:

·  High school diploma or equivalent.
·  Certification in CCTV operation or security systems is an advantage.
·  Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
·  Experience with CCTV systems and related security technology.
·  Proficiency in operating surveillance systems, including IP-based and analog CCTV cameras.
·  Basic knowledge of computer systems and security software.
·  Familiarity with access control and alarm systems is a plus.
·  Strong observational and analytical skills.
·  Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential risks or anomalies.
·  Strong communication skills for reporting and coordination.
·  Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure.
·  High level of integrity and confidentiality.
·  Proactive and vigilant with a focus on guest and employee safety.
·  Team player with a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
