Job Purpose/Role

We are looking for a forward-thinking and results-oriented working student (m/f/d) to strengthen our Investment Controlling & Valuation department. The position will be based in our Munich office and should have a duration of at least 6 months (16 hours per week) starting from 1st of March 2026 onwards.

 

As a Working Student in the IFRS Accounting & Reporting team, you will support key processes related to IFRS accounting and reporting for AGI Private Markets’ diverse investment portfolio, including infrastructure equity, renewables, and private equity funds.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with IFRS accounting and reporting topics for AGI Private Markets’ investment portfolio
  • Contribute to the preparation of IFRS and HGB analyses and accounting guidelines for international transactions
  • Support onboarding new investment strategies from an IFRS accounting perspective
  • Identify opportunities for AI-enabled process improvements in accounting and reporting workflows
  • Leveraging ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for efficient data preparation and transformation

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

  • Advanced studies in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field, ideally with a focus on International Accounting
  • Initial practical experience through internships in corporate finance and accounting departments
  • Solid knowledge of IFRS and HGB Accounting
  • Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of Power Query, Power Automate, Power BI, and AI tools is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, structured and independent work style
  • Highly motivated with exceptional communication skills, a proactive approach to challenges, and a strong ability to collaborate effectively within teams
  • Written and oral proficiency in English required, working knowledge of German is a plus
