This role exists to manage and develop key roadside assistance partnerships so we deliver on our commercial, strategic and customer commitments. It’s for an experienced B2B Key Account Manager who enjoys owning a partner portfolio end‑to‑end — from day‑to‑day relationship management to longer‑term planning — and who can balance growth with governance in a regulated environment. You’ll be the primary point of contact for partners, strengthening relationships, driving performance, and keeping everything aligned with contracts, risk frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Location: Croydon / Hybrid (typically one day per week in the office) Hours: 09:00–17:30, Monday to Friday Working style: Flexible hybrid working
Salary: Discussed at interview
What are the key responsibilities of the role?
• Own and grow a portfolio of roadside assistance partners: be the primary point of contact, build collaborative relationships, and drive performance and customer outcomes
• Deliver commercial outcomes: meet revenue and profitability targets, and identify organic growth opportunities within existing partners
• Keep partnerships compliant and well‑run: align with group strategy and risk frameworks, meet contractual and regulatory obligations, and provide clear upward and downward communication to stakeholders and governance forums
• Coordinate internal teams — Operations, Finance, Underwriting, Product/Marketing/Innovation, Legal/Compliance and HR — to ensure seamless delivery of partner requirements
• Maintain accurate records and reporting: create and track opportunities, renewals and contacts in Salesforce; produce monthly account updates, budgets and strategic account plans (including competitor insights) • Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud-based tools, using insight responsibly and in line with our standards for data governance, security and ethical use
What are the key requirements?
• Proven B2B key account management experience (around 3+ years), with a track record of delivering revenue growth and development — you’ll be accountable for commercial outcomes in a partner-led, regulated setting
• Automotive/roadside assistance experience strongly preferred (ideally 5+ years) — it helps you navigate OEM, insurer and mobility partner expectations and industry compliance
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — you can steer decision‑making with senior stakeholders and run clear, outcome‑focused meetings
• Strong organisation and time management — you’re comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines while balancing day‑to‑day delivery with longer‑term planning
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and comfortable using CRM tools like Salesforce — you’ll build reports, budgets and strategic plans and keep an accurate pipeline
• Diplomatic, collaborative style suited to a fast‑paced, regulated environment; full UK driving licence — you’ll travel to partner sites and coordinate cross‑functional teams while maintaining compliance
