Job description
The role
The role would be to support the steering and day-to-day management of the SRU (Sentive Risk Management Unit) related activities as part of the Group Credit Underwriting team. This role would be mainly related to supporting the Group Head of SRU for the tasks related to SRU specific monitoring tools design, analyzing the needs and finalizing the requirements, participating in internal and external data sourcing/data administration activities to satisy the business need, testing, process integration, training support and SRU reporting activites.
Your role
SRU is evolving as a new sub-function under The Group Credit Underwriting function to better mitigate severity risks in line with a clear roll-out plan. Sourcing the best information and equipping the global SRU network with custom monitoring and portfolio steering tools is one of the main pillars of the defined roadmap. Integration of any SRU related specific improvements and new tools to our processes also require training and cascading down of the competencies to the network in Region/BU levels.
In this context, the intern would support the team on:
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Update and analyze buyers’ financials and credit profiles using Refinitiv and Capital IQ on a monthly basis.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive financial database to support underwriting and portfolio management activities.
Credit Risk Model Development
- Support the development and enhancement of robust credit risk models to improve underwriting decision-making processes.
- Assist in testing and validating model outputs to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Monitoring & Portfolio Management Tools
- Contribute to the design and implementation of monitoring tools
- Enhance automation, data integration, and reporting efficiency within the credit monitoring framework.
All work and tasks will be conducted in English and within an international team.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- Data treatment and data/process tool building knowledge
- Interest into financial topics and processes
- Strong proficiency in Refinitiv (or Bloomberg) and Capital IQ
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and data-driven environment.
- Fluent in English
- International Mindset
Nice to have
- Familiarity with APIs and data integration processes.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL, Python).
