About the role 

• Providing technical and legal knowledge as well as strategic advice to claims staff and customers of Allianz 
• Supporting in the growth and development of our claims staff, helping with their technical queries and case management challenges 
• Being accountable for all procedures and outcomes that require Technical Manager endorsement and oversight 
• Actively contributing to team goals, assisting other team members, and fostering a positive working environment
• Demonstrating leadership within the team and setting a positive example through behaviour modelling

About you 

• Previous experience in Workers’ Compensation or a Personal Injury scheme, ideally with significant experience in managing technical claims
• Comprehensive knowledge of Victorian Workers’ Compensation legislation and regulations
• Ability to discuss complex matters with internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools including ACCtion & Novus
• Ability to provide ad hoc coaching and leadership support to the team
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
