What you do

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced reporting accountant to join Allianz Partners in a newly created role as Senior Reporting & Consolidation Accountant, taking ownership of AP Solutions, our European Service Entity.

As the Senior Reporting & Consolidation Accountant, you will be part of the global consolidation team, responsible for the accurate closing of AP Solutions Head office under IFRS, as well as the consolidated result of AP Solutions under German GAAP. In close collaboration with the wider Accounting & Reporting function, as well as with the Finance Centre of Excellence and the Planning & Controlling function, you will play a pivotal role in securing the accurate financial reporting of our European Service entity.

 

·  Responsible for accurate and timely monthly and quarterly financials of global office accounting and consolidated AP Solutions;
·  Responsible for the review and in part, preparation of the annual financial statements under HGB;
·  Central point of contact for internal and external auditors in relation to AP Solutions;
·  Responsible for the overarching control environment of AP Solutions and the adequate book keeping of its European branches;

 

What you bring

·  Qualified accountant with 3-4 years post-qualified experience;
·  Strong HGB and IFRS knowledge;
·  Pro-active and able to identify and implement solutions for complex queries;
·  Professional approach and delivery of work product;
·  Energy, enthusiasm, persistence and adaptability;
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
·  Strong Microsoft Office skills;
·  SAP GRP experience;
·  Fluent in German and English;
·  Positive energy and can-do attitude in a global organization.
