As a Senior Consultant with Allianz Consulting, you will take on the role of a management consultant, collaborating with our clients to help them solve their problems, enhance their business and implement change. As a consultant, you will be responsible for the delivery of strategy, business, and transformation projects through stakeholder engagement, ensuring quality output, and providing guidance to junior consultants.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership : Participate in end-to-end execution of projects, including the development of hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, and surfacing actionable insights to drive project outcomes.
- Project Management : Taking ownership and ensuring high quality output alongside timely project delivery through individual contribution and the management of small project teams.
- Client Engagement : Cultivate relationships with our clients, understanding their needs and aligning solutions to meet their strategic direction; acting as a trusted advisor and allowing for future business development opportunities.
- Thought Leadership : Develop knowledge in key topics and be recognized as a subject matter expert by organizational peers and leaders.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue business development opportunities and contribute to the development of pitches, showcasing Allianz Consulting’s value proposition.
Key Requirements
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in management consulting, advisory, insurance, or business-related roles.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- A strong background in strategic problem solving, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving proficiency, including methodological and conceptualization skills, moderation, facilitation and presentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work well with senior organisational leaders and internal team members.
- Passionate and self-driven with a knack for creativity and innovative thinking.
- International working experience or ability to navigate different working cultures.
- Functional expertise across the insurance value chain is a plus.
- Ability to create deliverables in the form of PowerPoint decks and Excel models, or other written deliverable.
- Fluency in both spoken and written English is a must. A second language would be advantageous.
