The Senior Actuarial Analyst develops and uses actuarial models and reporting systems to prepare analyses that help develop products, pricing strategies and risk mitigation. You will report to a credentialed Actuary.

 

What you do:

  • You will support completion of projects for actuarial functions including:

    • Product development and pricing analyses

    • Product management tools and studies

    • Business and related forecasts

    • Valuation, financial reporting and analyses

  • You will prepare financial reports, memorandums and other required actuarial supporting analyses including:

    • New product and filings and rollouts

    • Product management actions

    • Requests from external auditors, state regulators and rating agencies

  • You will communicate actuarial results to areas including:

    • Department and other Support unit personnel

    • Other actuaries

  • You will assist, performs, or reviews actuarial research

  • You will assist with training and direction of other entry-level actuaries

  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).

 

What you bring:

  • 2+ years' of Actuarial experience required

  • Experience with SQL, C++, Excel, VBA, or related programs/programming languages

  • Four-year degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or related field required

  • 3+ SOA exams completed

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship. We do not offer sponsorship for this position.

 

Base Salary Range $57,000 - $114,000

Actual base salary may vary based upon factors such as relevant experience, qualifications, internal equity of peers, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual incentive program.
