Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with a strong interest in financial solutions for businesses? At Surety, you’ll have the opportunity to advise large corporations on their guarantee facilities — a role where commercial insight and financial expertise come together.
The Role
As an Account Manager Surety & Guarantee Belux – Wallonia and Luxembourg, you’ll be responsible for managing and further developing a portfolio of major enterprises (Belux top 500). You’ll build long-term relationships with financial decision-makers and develop new opportunities through existing networks, events, brokers, and partners. You’ll combine relationship management with strategic growth, ensuring a stable and profitable portfolio.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and expand an existing client portfolio in collaboration with brokers and internal partners.
- Structure and negotiate complex guarantee facilities (EUR 2.5 – 250 million).
- Develop new business through networking, referrals, and sector initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with CFOs, treasurers, and board members.
- Prepare high-quality credit proposals in collaboration with the Risk team.
- Record and follow up on commercial activities in Salesforce, contributing to the execution of Surety Belux’s commercial strategy.
Who You Are
- Experienced sales professional with at least 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales or account management within a direct sales environment, preferably in banking or insurance.
- Skilled in consultative selling and able to clearly translate complex solutions to clients.
- Strategic thinker who feels comfortable engaging with C-level executives.
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a focus on sustainable results.
- Language skills: fluent in French and English; knowledge of Dutch is an asset but not required.
- Master’s degree in economics, law, or business administration (or equivalent).
- Affinity with the transformation of financial services, digitalization, and innovation.
