About the Job
As a Principal Data Engineer/Data Analytics professional at Allianz Technology, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that support our mobile projects. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and analysis of data, driving insights that enhance the user experience and business value. Your role will involve optimizing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and leveraging AI technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.
What you do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures for mobile projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Implement data integration solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability with mobile applications.
- Optimize data processing and storage solutions for maximum efficiency and performance.
- Conduct data analysis and generate insights to drive decision-making and improve user experience.
- Utilize AI-driven tools and methodologies to enhance analytics capabilities and drive innovation.
- Ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Mentor junior data engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve data engineering practices.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst, with a focus on mobile projects.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and design patterns.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or R.
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
- Experience in integrating AI algorithms and models to enhance data analytics capabilities and decision-making.
