The primary purpose of this role is to provide financial support and advice to Consumer business , to be a conduit between the business and Finance and to contribute to the successful achievement of core business objectives. Additionally, the role may potentially support M&A/Integration work, further enhancing the strategic initiatives of the organization
About the role
· Creating and maintaining financial review packs, delivering financial data to key stakeholders, and providing insights and recommendations to assist and inform the decision-making process.
· Driving and managing stakeholders during the forecasting and planning process to ensure requirements are being accounted for and delivered to the Planning Team and Senior Management.
· Managing the delivery of board deliverables for the Division and being responsible for the structural design and execution of incentive programs.
· Scoping out reporting enhancements and conducting data deep dives while consulting with relevant stakeholders to bring them to life.
· Establishing effective working relationships with General Manager-level stakeholders to understand the drivers of their business, their financial implications, and providing advice to support key decision-making.
· Supporting Finance teams to successfully deliver on Allianz Group deadlines and requirements.
· Proactively contributing to strategic process improvements and strategic development across AAL.
This is a 6-month contract that offers a dynamic experience, working with key stakeholders in the consumer business to drive initiatives and align with business goals with a potential for extension.
About you
· Strong background in financial services in a similar role with preference given to candidates with experience in the insurance sector. Experience in FP&A is highly desired.
· Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/ or industry accreditation.
· Comprehensive understanding of organisational financial frameworks and experience in financial management processes, resources, and systems, providing advice to improve financial performance and achieve strategic objectives.
· Strong background and understanding of the commercial and operational processes in a General Insurance firm including product, pricing, and channel servicing models.
· Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights, and evaluate options for decision making.
· Highly developed consulting and influencing skills, demonstrating the ability to co-create strategy and valuable analytical solutions with key business stakeholders.
· Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
