Job description

The Director of Ethics Innovation will be responsible for advancing Allianz Life’s Ethics Program by implementing innovative strategies that foster a strong culture of trust and integrity. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience managing ethics programs, engaging with industry organizations focused on ethics, and developing innovative ethics-related programs that advance a company's ethical culture. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, a passion for promoting ethical behavior, and the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels.

 

What you do:

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to continuously elevate the ethics program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry leading practices.
  • Foster a culture of trust and integrity by promoting ethical behavior and decision-making across the organization.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate ethical considerations into business strategies and operations.
  • Engage with industry organizations and thought leaders to stay abreast of emerging trends and influence innovative practices into the ethics program.
  • Develop and deliver training and awareness initiatives to reinforce ethical standards and practices among employees.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the ethics program, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and assess potential ethical risks within the organization and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Leverage technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics to build innovative solutions.
  • Manage the budget and resources allocated to the ethics program, ensuring efficient and effective use to maximize impact.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on ethical issues, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Lead a team of ethics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Oversee the investigation of ethics-related concerns and ensure appropriate resolution in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and present reports on the ethics program to senior leadership and the board of directors, highlighting key achievements and areas for development.

 

What you bring:

  • Degree in Business, Law, Ethics, Compliance or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience leading teams and managing ethics programs within a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to ethics and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative strategies that enhance ethical culture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience collaborating with industry organizations and thought leaders in the ethics field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment
  • Utilization of artificial intelligence tools and resources (e.g. generative AI).
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require immigration sponsorship for visa status now or in the future (e.g. H1-B, L-1, TN, etc). If you are currently on CPT/OPT, you are ineligible due to the need for future immigration sponsorship.
