What you will do

Our prestigious and newl opened Van Centre based in Tipton is currently looking for a qualified Van / HGV   Technician Supervisor with excellent diagnostic and mechanical skills to work a set shift:

Working 45 hours Mon-Fri  07.30 - 1700 with alternate Saturday' mornings

Paying up to £45,000 dependent on Van Technical skills with Supervisory experience

Flexibility will be required

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

·  Supervise the shift technicians and co-ordinate workload
·  Liaise with the Van Centre Manager regarding shift staff, training needs, KPI's etc
·  Diagnosis and repair of vehicles
·  Servicing of vehicles to a high standard
·  Participation in call out and breakdown rota - if/when required
·  Ability to use diagnostic equipment
·  Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report any rectifications required
·  Complete job cards clearly and accurately

Essential Qualifications and Knowledge

·  C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification
·  Electrical and Mechanical skills and experience
·  Good understanding of H&S issues in a workshop environment
·  Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage
