Background:

The development of Extended reality (XR) is fast and it is time to look into the future of Augmented reality (AR)@LAND. Volvo Penta design and develop solutions from engine to controls systems and would like to see how AR can be utilized throughout the customer journey for both customers (OEMs) and end users when the product is in use. For instance, how to make harvesting or  docking a container more efficient. 

Thesis work objective:

Find a suitable usecase for AR@LAND by understanding customers need.​

Develop a working prototype for the use case in order to test desirability, feasibility and viability on customers (OEMs) and end users. Current AR-technology such as Magic Leap or Meta Quest can be used to visualize the usecase. 

Qualifications and Personal Profile:

·  Coding in appropriate language​
·  Knowledge about what customer journeys are and how to test on users​
·  Design skills
