What you will do:

At Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the digital transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to support our data and productization journey. You will contribute to our projects focusing on the development of data pipelines, along with data processing for BI visualization tools.

 

You will:  

·  Work on one of our global agile product teams focusing on creating business value through digital products.
·  Contribute to enable new data-driven services working with Stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
·  Support in building the infrastructure required for optimal Extraction, Transformation, and Loading of data from a wide variety of data sources on-premises or hosted in Microsoft Azure Cloud.
·  Work closely with data analysts to provide required data models and structures.

 

Your future team:

You will join one of our  Data Engineer's chapters  in Curitiba, BR and will be part of our global Data Engineer's community into the Data function.

·  Very good English communication skills.
·  High degree of responsibility ,self-organization and self-motivation.
·  Adaptability, ability to drive tasks by himself and/or in a team environment.
·  Agile frameworks previous experience.
·  End to End development of BI systems previous experience.
·  Data Analysis and Data modeling skills.
·  Advanced T-SQL skills.
·  Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure data engineering tools: Azure Data Factory & Azure Databricks.
·  Good knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.

 

Will be considered nice to have:

·  Good knowledge of Python language, specially pyspark.
·  Previous experience with Azure Synapse.
·  Previous experience with Informatica Power Center and IICS.
