Background:

The rapid expansion of the Internet of Things (IoT) has led to an increased demand for devices that are not only reliable but also rich in functionality and features. In alignment with Volvo Penta's enhanced vision to deliver increased uptime, productivity, and a premium customer experience through advanced connected devices and services.
The Connectivity team have significant projects ahead in the coming years in marine and industry applications. The need  to accelerate time to market is crucial as well as maintaining high quality. Our goal is to speed up the market launch of our product by identifying and implementing more effective and automated testing methods.
 

Thesis work objective:

We believe that a multi-faceted approach is necessary, It should begin with an in-depth analysis and thorough examination of our current methods and resources to pinpoint opportunities for improvement. The next step would be to apply the required improvements by adopting automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) technologies 

Qualifications and Personal Profile:

We are in search of two individuals who possesses a creative flair and the ability to devise innovative solutions. You should be eager to rapidly test various strategies and critically assess their effectiveness. An enthusiasm for automation and streamlining processes is also highly desirable.

 
We believe the following programs are particularly relevant:

 

·  Data science and AI
·  Software engineering and technology
·  Computer science – algorithms, languages and logic

 

Additionally, we welcome proposals from other programs.
