Valentino SpA is looking for an Intern who will be included in the  Demand Planning  Department, based in Milan, and will support the team in the following activities:

 

·  Develop accurate and timely forecast while helping reduce inventory /working capital, and minimize forecast variability
·  Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop forecast data based on trends and demand patterns, develop ad hoc forecast models and evaluate forecast results
·  Monitor and react on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets and business strategies
·  Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
·  Contribute to the presentation of forecast and inventory estimations
·  Collect, organize, analyze and interpret numerical data

 

Requirements:

 

·  Academic background in Management Engineering, Economics or related fields
·  Strong IT skills: MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
·  Fluency in English
·  Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills
·  Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a responsible way
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·  Team oriented with a pro-active and determined attitude
·  Open-minded, curious, methodical and endowed with a sound analytical approach
