Valentino SpA is looking for an Intern who will be included in the  Carryover Replenishment  Department, based in Milan, and will support the team in the following activities:

 

• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, develop forecast data based on trends and demand patterns, develop ad hoc forecast models and evaluate forecast results
• Conduct monthly forecast maintenance (weekly if needed)
• Work with the team to project and set appropriate TSL (target stock level) at store/sku level
• Support the Implementation of new/additional features on the Demand forecasting tool, with the goal of making the process smooth and streamlined:

·  Support the implementations of solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
·  Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner

• Support ad hoc and daily Allocation activities (new tool roll out) from HQ towards regions

 

Requirements:

 

• Graduate and/or Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Management Engineering, with a strong academic performance
• Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a responsible way
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Team oriented with a pro-active and determined attitude
• Open-minded, curious, methodical and endowed with a sound analytical approach
• Strong IT skills: MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP will be a plus

• Fluent in English
