The Industrial function’s role is to help the Solvay Group in safety initiatives and support the group's transformation in operational excellence.
Job Overview and Responsibilities
Provide utility and cleanup maintenance support for all surface facilities, ensuring safe and continuous operations. Operates mobile equipment and performs general labor tasks such as shoveling, painting, mowing, moving materials and cleaning. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education and Experience
· High School Diploma or GED is required
· Must have a valid drivers license
· Prior industry experience is preferred
Skills
· Ability to recognize what needs done and take the initiative to do it
· Team oriented
· Ability to analyze information, both written and verbal
· Must possess above average written and oral communication skills
· Ability to prioritize and organize required job activities
· Be willing to work in dusty, hot, and or noisy environments, with the proper PPE, including face masks.
