We are looking for:

·  Our team at Solvay is shaping the future of our 9 sites producing Soda ash, sodium bicarbonate & derivatives by managing, developing and transforming more than 60 co-products and by-products representing millions of tons of potential raw materials globally. You will bring:

·  Background: Chemical engineer or business. Level of the responsibilities will depend on the experience of the candidate.
·  Leadership, Impact on local and global organization with ability to summarize complex projects
·  Entrepreneurial mindset with strong internal and external negotiation skills
·  Innovation skills: Open innovation, Smart Risks, mindset 80/20
·  Collaboration, working cross organization
·  German & French: fluent, negotiation with customers level. English: very good. Other languages are a plus.
·  Should be based at Rheinberg (Dusseldorf area, DE), Bernburg (Leipzig area, DE) or Dombasle (Nancy area, FR)
·  Knowledge in cement, construction materials, gypsum or agriculture segment is a strong plus
