Responsible for supporting the Global Supply Chain organization with data collection, analysis and reporting. Key team member supporting the day-to-day operation of the supply chain as well as key projects within the various supply chain functions. Share knowledge and learnings from data and metrics to support cross functional and cross site improvement projects. Requires significant interaction with cross-functional groups and disciplines within the organization and the need for excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.

The growth at Solvay depends on solid / sustainable supply chain processes, including the areas of customer service, production planning (including finished goods and raw material planning), procurement and logistics. A strong order fulfillment strategy including actions / projects to drive the necessary improvement across the business is critical to delivering the business objectives. This new role will focus on analytic support for these efforts and developing new metrics and dashboards to enhance performance visibility across the business. Analytical, Excel/Access, SAP knowledge and process improvement skills are key requirements for this position.

Our Supply Chain metrics and analytics must include an understanding of customer (Voice of the Customer) and business needs; how are we positioned to meet the needs, and where are the key gaps/areas of focus. The scope of the role includes all Supply Chain functions (Planning, Procurement, Logistics & Customer Service) and spans all manufacturing facilities across 3 continents. Responsible for developing and reporting key metrics on a monthly basis. Responsible for analyzing metrics and performance to give guidance to business leaders on key insights and any gaps in performance that need to be addressed.

Qualifications :

Required Experience:

·  BS degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain related. An MBA and APICS certification is preferred.
·  Strong analytical skills. Prefer statistical analysis training/experience. Six Sigma Black Belt a plus.
·  Understanding of end to end supply chain processes.
·  Ability to work cross functionally and closely with customers
·  Able to communicate effectively.
·  Able to research and manage data/information.
·  Able to solve problems and follow instructions and procedures.
·  Excellent organizational skills.
·  Strategic and tactical thinker able to drive concept and theory to reality.
·  Strong analysis and decision making.
·  Ability to define and manage change to meet business objectives.
·  Solid computer skills. Experienced in the use of SAP (APO and ECC modules). Must be competent in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
·  Multi functional experience (Ops, Sales or other helpful)
