Are you currently looking for a summer internship, where you can contribute your creativity, talents and passion to an exciting, fast-paced organization? Solvay's 2018 Summer Internship Program offers ambitious college students the opportunity to take on hands-on and challenging assignments within a variety of Solvay's Business Units and Functions. Summer interns will work side by side with managers on special projects, and attend valuable workshops throughout the duration of the program.

The Solvay Agrochemical business team is looking for an intern that can help better understand the ever evolving agrochemical herbicides market. The intern will be given guidance and training on resources to use for completing project goals. At the end of their internship, the intern will have a good understanding of select active agrochemicals and their post tank mix added adjuvants.

Tasks/Projects for Intern:
· Research the Herbicides market and trends with a focus on Dicamba and Glyphosate active ingredients
· Collect data from rail reports, PIERS import/export databases, EPA labels, EPA reports, patents, published papers, and various websites
· Build a database compiling data from prescribed resources
· Prepare a presentation/report that will include summary research findings from databases, websites and paid market reports

Desired profile

Qualifications :

·  Currently looking for a candidate with a major in Agricultural studies, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Business/Economics
·  Driven self starter with clear communication skills
·  Able to collect data and compile in a meaningful format based on project goals
·  Able to periodically collaborate with Solvay's regulatory and agrochemical lab departments for project specific inquiries
