We are looking for:
As a Production Engineer , you will be part of the Production Operations team and will be responsible for analyzing and improving current processes, managing the industrial and manufacturing excellence projects, and guaranteeing process safety and product quality within the La Porte, Texas unit, in order to ensure the competitiveness and sustainability of the production process of the unit.
We count on you for:
· Comply with HSE regulations, quality standards, and company policies
· Lead PHA studies (HazOp and LOPA)
· Support the manager regarding compliance with HSE rules, regulations, and policies
· Production Process
· Propose the most optimal production conditions, taking into account cost and quality
· Perform DCS support (process control and configuration) as needed
· Manufacture Excellence, continuous improvement, and innovation
· Manage assigned projects or subprojects under the supervision of the manager which includes workflow or system improvements, CAPEX, process improvement, OEE improvement, etc
· Lead and implement testing of new technologies, methods, and/or products on a pilot scale or directly in the Industrial plant
· Manage internal and external interaction and collaboration
· Act as a liaison regarding technological matters towards other departments, suppliers, and customers

You will bring:
· BSc Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)
· 3 to 8 years of experience in a chemical plant
· Experience in optimizing chemical reactions, as well as in monitoring experience in chemical working solutions
· Interest in knowledge development regarding DCS (Digital Control System)
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
· Learning orientation
· Ability to work collaboratively with operators and engineers
You will get:
· The U.S. annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is $90.000 to $110.000. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonuses and/or other incentives.
