Job Overview and Responsibilities:

The purpose of this job is to support Aroma Performance GBU growth needs by providing technical solution, data collection, new product and application development under supervision of Lab manager and Technical service specialist.

Product performance evaluation, benchmark analysis, test, and investigation in connection with determining properties of material or new product development.

· 
Run the experiment to find the solution according to technical servicer request.

· 
Implement assigned R&I projects arrangedby project leader with appropriate documents.

· 
Ensure the project is carried out smoothly with timely update and delivery of objectives.

· 
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, record and document the experiment results in precision and detail, prepare samples for internal test and customer demo. Support for product scaling up and process optimization. Literature search for related projects.

· 
Participate the process optimization work, according to safety, industrial and economic constraints, to assist in the development of the process at pilot and/or industrial workshops.

· 
Sample management. Following the sample statues and recording the feedback from customer to support commercial team.

· 
To assist the new projects definition work, new business opportunities scouting work.

· 
Follows all SHE policies, Support lab 5S and HSE work to ensure clearness and safety in the lab

Education and Experience:

A College degree or above, major in Organic Chemistry, Polymer, Chemical Engineering or related. With the lab experience in organic synthesis/separation/purification: particularly, having the experience/knowledge of distillation is a plus.

Skills:

Be able to do lab experiment independently

Skilled in using Microsoft office software

Be able to read English literature. Record and document the experiment data in English

Additional Information

Good oral English is a plus.

Getting the hold of analytical skill like NMR, LC/MS, HPLC, GC etc.is a plus.
