Job Overview and Responsibilities:

As Global IT buyer, you will be in charge of an IT portfolio for segments like hardware, software (SaaS & On premise), outsourcing (winsdom, applicative management services, etc), consulting, printing or telecom (internet access, Lan, RAS, Wan, etc).

This includes source selection, supplier relationship management, cost reduction strategies, contract negotiation, product/service delivery and quality performance. 
Also managing key Group internal customers relationships and steer Global IT suppliers in collaboration with IT SBS team.

Main missions: 
•Keep informed of IT market evolution 
•Know applicable Regulations (ITAR, NIST, EAR, GDPR, etc) and the consequences in the IT contracts
•Participate with the IT risk assessment and how to support cybersecurity
•Define, propose and/or implement purchasing strategies and action plans in collaboration with the internal stakeholders
•Prepare the negotiation (identify and evaluate potential suppliers, develop the RFx, and define the negotiation strategy)
•Negotiate purchasing contracts
•Formalize the contracts and service level agreements (SLA’s) and KPI’s with suppliers and Solvay technical team
•Manage purchasing contracts and Follow up whether the supplier respects the agreements
•Deploy the contracts within own perimeter and communicate to all relevant stakeholders
•Organize and participate in supplier evaluation and define action plans for the suppliers
•Create contingency plans in order to handle service, delivery or quality problems
•Purchasing database management : contract up to date, visit minutes, performance visibility, support the process and the IT governance

Education and Experience:

·  University degree in Business/Management or Business school degree, 
·  Good experience in procurement/purchasing, in IT field.
