Job Overview and Responsibilities

For his/her General Expenses Procurement portfolio responsible for the strategic sourcing of Business & Management services (Legal, Finance & Knowledge services) and Employee services (Training & Development, Recruitment & Payroll services). This includes market intelligence, developing category & sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, creating pipeline visibility, contract negotiation, product/service delivery and quality performance.  Also managing strong key Group internal customers relationships including priorities alignment, and to animate coordination of a Global Procurement network.

Key Responsibilities : 

Develop General Expenses market knowledge and customer needs knowledge
Collect relevant financial and regulatory information, and follow market trends within his segments and other support segments, perform market research and identify and analyze potential suppliers.
Collect, analyze and anticipate the demands and needs of internal customers and prescribers.

Define, propose and/or implement procurement strategies and action plans in collaboration with the internal customers & our Excellence Center.
Deploy, apply and propose adaptations to the defined procurement policies and strategies within his/her own perimeter.
Building a roadmap, define the priorities, projects and action plans, and identify the resources needed.
Execute projects and action plans after approval.

Negotiate procurement contracts
Prepare the negotiation (identify and evaluate potential suppliers, develop the RFx, and define the negotiation strategy).
Meet with potential suppliers and negotiate contract conditions with selected suppliers.
Formalize the contracts and service level agreements (SLA’s) and KPI’s with suppliers.

Manage procurement contracts
Deploy the contracts within his/her own perimeter and communicate to all relevant stakeholders.
Follow up whether the supplier respects the agreements. 
Organize and participate in supplier evaluation and define action plans for the suppliers.
Create contingency plans in order to handle service, delivery or quality problems. 

Follow-up and improve procurement performance
Work with sites, internal customers, and other buyers to propose, implement and follow up on projects to optimize procurement performance (total cost of ownership, synergies, number of suppliers…).
Ensure the correct administration of procurement documents, respecting defined procedures.

Education and Experience

Master in Business/Management or Business school, with Procurement focus or equivalent by experience
