Job Overview and Responsibilities:

The Pasadena site is strategic for Novecare.  The site was built in 2015, and is forecasted to be “sold out” for the foreseeable future. Novecare’s vision is to leverage Digital Technologies to improve site competitiveness, drive OEE and cycle time improvements, and engage & motivate our employees.  We are working to bring the right information to the right people at the right time, and transform Pasadena into Novecare’s ‘site of the future’. This journey started earlier in 2019, and we are looking for a process engineer to catalyze our efforts and continue Pasadena’s Digital Transformation.

Specifically, you will work with the digital team onsite to leverage innovative, digital technologies such as Advanced Analytics, Digital Ways of Working, and Advanced Process Control to drive improvements of the site’s alkoxylation processes.  This role combines fundamental process knowledge and understanding with emerging technology and data analysis to define process conditions that drive plant performance. You will use this information to work with the plant technical and operations teams to develop solutions and lead projects that improve site OEE and increase capacity.  The role also involves collaboration with the plant Team to develop and implement Digital Ways of Working improvements to the operational workflow.

Successes and best practices from this program at Pasadena are leveraged and transferred to other sites to drive similar improvements.
