Job Overview and Responsibilities:

The CTC (Customs & Trade Control) Operations Service is part of the CCT organization (Customer Credit and Trade) in SBS (Solvay Business Services), and operates in 3 different areas: Customs management, Trade control and Trade preference. Its main mission is to provide support and transactional services to the GBUs (Global Business Units) and to guarantee the control for Solvay group, following the rules designed by the Corporate. CTC teams operate on GTS (Global Trade System), a SAP module to manage Customs and Trade control activities.

As part of SBS CCT CTC operations team, for a duration of 9 months and for a defined geographical perimeter, the CTC Operations officer will have the following responsibilities:

·  Export Trade control in GTS
- Analyze export control with 3 different tools: compare the daily sales orders to the official blocked partner’s lists and the specific regulations of countries under embargo on a WW perimeter, coordinate with the customer service and logistic departments, the blocked orders and outbound deliveries
- Analyze the new partners created by GBUs against sanctioned party lists

·  Export and Import customs operations in GTS
- Be the backup contact with the Global Business Unit (GBU) in case of issue with an export customs declaration
- Support the french production and R&I sites in case of interface issues with French customs system

Education and Experience:

·  Fluent in English
·  Good level of French
·  University degree

Skills:

·  Curious, open minded, team worker, you are able to evolve in a moving environment
·  No previous experience required (First experience in international environment)
