Job Overview and Responsibilities:
Responsible, under the direction of Operations Manager, for manufacturing product, receiving raw materials, shipping product, adhere to all aspects of the EH&S program, maintain all required records, participate in housekeeping activities, and load/unload trucks.

·  Participate in chemical blending process, be able to follow procedures, transfer material to storage tanks, load bulk tank trucks, fill tote bins. 
·  Drive a forklift to load/unload flatbed trucks or to transfer raw materials.
·  Participate in housekeeping activities.
·  Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures. This will include all aspects of Process Safety Management.
·  Must be able to comply with all Solvay safety rules and company policies.
·  Participate in the Incident Investigation process. 
·  Be available to support plant activities by working weekends or holidays when required.
·  Possess good oral and written communication skills. 
·  Complete assigned tasks as issued by the Operations Manager or Plant Manager.
·  Be a team player who can interface well with all employees.
·  Perform various other duties assigned by manager within the physical constraints of the job.

Education and Experience:

HS degree or higher education level preferred, previous oil field or chemical related industry preferred

Skills:

·  Good written and oral communication skills.
·  Be able to follow directions.
·  Good personal skills.  
·  Ability to work well with all levels.
