MAIN PURPOSE
The Cartier Women’s Initiative (CWI) program is composed of four pillars which define our strategy and guide our actions:
· The Awards recognize 30 talented impact entrepreneurs per year who are leveraging business as a force for good.
· The Fellowship aims to equip our fellows with the necessary skills to grow their business and to build their leadership capacity.
· The Community aims to support our fellows by connecting them with a network of former fellows, jury members, ecosystem partners, ambassadors, advisors, and investors that can provide them with access to relationships, knowledge, and capital.
· Our Insights strategy consists in sharing program data, forming research partnerships, and tapping into our community's vast pool of talent, expertise, and experience by curating and bringing to light some of the boldest and most thought-provoking ideas.
Working closely with CWI Program Design and Impact Manager will support ongoing program coordination, data maintenance, analysis and research, to ensure program has timely evidence to inform program design, implementation, and reporting in line with the Theory of Change.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibility 1: Data maintenance
· Conduct annual census of the status of CWI fellows and their impact businesses, ensuring the program has an accurate view of businesses still in operation, mergers and acquisitions, and fellows’ serial impact entrepreneurship. Register updates in internal databases and Salesforce.
· Prepare impact survey data for analysis, ensuring consistent variable labelling, validity and accuracy of numeric data
· Populate Salesforce import templates with key data from fellow applications, fellow program participation and impact surveys (i.e. financial snapshot data)
· Implement data cleaning and review of all internal databases, as needed
Key responsibility 2: Data analysis
· Conduct analysis of shortlisted applications to support CWI Leads during the fellow selection process. This may include analysis of founding team composition, % female ownership, funding at application, prior accelerator participation, business models.
· Code and analyse CWI awards applications data around priority themes to offer insights to women’s impact entrepreneurship supporters
Key responsibility 3: Research
· Compile entrepreneurship statistics and application trends to inform Call for Application Strategy
· Conduct research to update key gender and entrepreneurship statistics for internal and external communications
Key responsibility 4: Coordination and Technical Moderation
· Coordinate Jury member onboarding process, including collecting key documents through the dedicated portal, communication and follow-up
· Update Jury member and applicant reference materials, such as commitment forms and handbooks
· Develop a detailed timeline and rundown of all Jury presentation, deliberation and feedback calls, taking into account different time zones and schedule them using MS Teams
· Conduct technical check calls with 50 top applicants
· Serve as the technical moderator in 10 Jury presentation calls (3 hours each), 10 deliberation calls (1.5 hours each) and 10 feedback calls (1.5 hours each)
· Support other CWI team projects, as needed
JOB PROFILE (for recruitment purpose only)
· 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on applied data analytics.
· Strong quantitative skills and confidence with data manipulation, compilation, coding, translating it into insights, and iterate its cycle.
· Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and facilitation.
· Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
· Self-motivated, accountable, and able to deliver projects with minimal supervision.
· Mastery of MS Suite, in particular MS Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
· Effective communicator with proven ability to discuss data with non-technical audiences.
· Team player with a positive attitude that holds self and others accountable.
· Domain expertise on the impact entrepreneurship ecosystem and gender-lens movement.
· Strong interest in the global discourse around women’s empowerment, social and environmental impact, startups, entrepreneurship, and venture capital.
· Master's Degree student at an accredited college or university.
· Professional fluency in English and French required, additional language desired.
