Job description
The Finance Operations Controller in Richemont Dubai is part of the Richemont Finance Department, supporting the Richemont Brands in their internal retail and e-commerce operations, in a fast-growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. True business partner for the Maisons :
•Work in close collaboration with the brand Retail and E-Commerce management – including Store Manager and Staff.
•Be the key partner for subjects related to retail excellence, compliance and control for daily operations activities and brands general operations
•Owner of the retail and e-commerce policies and procedure within UAE; assess the awareness level on processes and procedures, and plan together with Brands recurrent training to increase the quality of retail operations.
•Spread system and process knowledge on retail flows constantly by being a first level of local support to the Brands and their boutiques
•Coordinate new boutique openings/brand events/boutique closure with all the functions by managing the retro-planning and coordinate the different dept. sign-off before the opening
2. Finance Operations & Internal Control
•Perform Boutique Audit
•Contribute to the development and improvement of the Boutique Audit methodology and ensure its correct execution within the UAE.
•Follow up on action plans, and provide support for the implementation
•Assist in maintaining the retail compliance and control over daily operations in the Boutiques
•Respect of Brand commercial policies
•Perform yearly stock-takes
•Control and Plan brand cycle-counts
•Perform the Retail and RCS stock adjustment
•Perform ICS monthly controls
•Discount and Gratuities
•Credit Transfer
•Consignments
•Stock In Transit
•Returns and Exchanges
•Bulk Sales
•Promote control awareness among Finance and Retail staff and contribute to regional efforts towards a continuous improvement of processes, procedures and systems.
3. Business Analysis & Reporting
•Prepare boutiques and brands sales analysis
•Prepare Retail and E-Commerce Key Performances indicators
•Develop BI ad hoc reports as per brands management requests
4. Finance Projects Management
•Coordinate projects with each head of department involved, whether transversal or functional, for business development or operational efficiency in which there is a financial component/stream.
•Be the leader for all Finance Operations projects including but not limited to:
•Internalizations and new boutiques
•E-commerce and remote sales
•Gemini preparation
•New brand incorporation
•Internal/external Audit coordination support
•Process improvements
•Key business development projects
