Role Overview

Cartier North America is seeking a Doorman who will be responsible for greeting and attending to clients in the Historical Cartier New York Flagship boutique on 52nd Street, in order to ensure the highest level of client experience. The ideal candidate will be able to personify the Cartier spirit through a deep understanding and conveyance of brand values, culture, and image.

 

Responsibilities

Greeting and Attending to Clients

·  Greeting and attending to clients.
·  Provide a consistently excellent client experience by maintaining the highest degree

       of courtesy and professionalism.

·  Open door as clients enter or leave.
·  Greet, assess needs and direct clients to appropriate department or representative.
·  Assist clients with belongings and packages.
·  Assist clients in and out of cars, and assist with transportation needs such as securing

       taxis.

·  Thank clients as they leave.

 

Operational Support

·  Daily set up and break down of boutique for opening/closing.
·  Assist with Boutique projects as needed (inventory, organization, restocking of

       supplies, etc...).

·  Coordinate with boutique operations to maintain clean and accessible exterior

       boutique premises and entrances .

 

Knowledge and Compliance

·  Develop basic brand knowledge to convey Cartier heritage and values.
·  Understand and comply with Cartier security and operational procedures (i.e.

       product handling, inventory control, etc.).

 

Brand Ambassador

·  Uphold Cartier image by maintaining professional demeanor at all times and be an

       ambassador for the maison.

 

 

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional language skills (Mandarin, Portuguese, Russian) are a plus.

 

Required experience:

·  Previous experience in luxury retail or hospitality is a plus (client facing).

 

Technical skills / abilities:

·  Available to work weekends.
·  Basic computer Skills (tablets, PC).
·  Must be able to remain in a stationary position for hours at a time to assist clients in and out of the boutique.
·  Regularly works in outdoor weather conditions.

 

Personal skills

·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required.
·  Ability to work in a fast-paced retail store environment.
·  Ability to project an approachable and professional image in personal appearance, manner, and demeanour.
·  Strong understanding of client service needs and client priorities.

 

 

Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.

Expected Salary Range:  $23/HR - $26/HR
