Job description
Responsibilities
Transportation Operations (3rd Party transporters & warehouses)
· Manage 3rd party Transporters Day to day operations
· Collecting orders received from Transportation planning & DRPs & PAPs and send them to 3rd party via systems
· Manage timely notification about picking completion by 3rd party
· Communicate with 3rd party on daily basis to review progress and resolve day to day operational issues
· Provide forecast details on weekly basis and provide weekly schedule for display building
· Manage 3rd party Warehouses
· Inbound dashboard reporting (e.g. OTD, Carrier Acceptance, Inflation, Ad hoc, etc.).
· Book slot and capacity in warehouse.
· Provide relevant transportation information to warehousing for slot booking and capacity planning.
· Manage issues and refusals.
Carrier Managment & Planning
· Insert costs into the system incl. claims management.
· Align with customer service and Transportation Planning team to discuss mitigation actions.
· Support for any issue (returns, refusals) and communicate to planner the cost adjustments (additional stop, returns with cost involvement etc.).
· Receive information about refusal order (order refused after reaching customer premise) and inform other teams (e.g. warehouse and customer service).
· Create and place all purchase orders with vendors for logistics services and coordinate proper invoicing.
· Provide information of freight costs for shipping companies.
Qualifications
· Proficiency in English and French (written and spoken C1)
· Working knowledge of gTMS
· Demonstrated stakeholder management experience with both internal and external transporters & warehouses working within logistics operational environment (usually min 2 yrs exp.)
· Prior working knowledge of stock planning and inventory management required
· Working Knowledge of MRP required (pref. SAP)
· Working Knowledge of Power Apps/BI or similar reporting dashboard software preferable
· Excel & Office package advanced knowledge mandatory
· Demonstrated coordination of disparate groups to drive problem resolution
