Responsibilities

The Opportunity

 

The Breaktrough innovation team´s mission is to uncover new sources of value for the company (new product venture, business model and go to market ). Lead the modeling of new market opportunities (market analysis, lean product development and business model generation).  Infuse agility into current PMF´s innovation processes by orchestrating activities between BI and support functions

The BI Manager is in charge of mantanining BI Team process including: business design, testing, pivot and scale of new offerings that could scale-up to PMF business in the future by ensuring that initiatives are both sustainable and financially rewarding. Also, this position will lead and execute all operational aspects of small scale production model (LABBI) such as forecast, inventory & POs management.

 

Your Impact

As Strategy Innovation Manager, your scope would consist of …

·  Create and develop new ventures business plan (P/L management, budgeting, initial capital, business model, unit economics, performance kpis, forecast)
·  Assist in the analysis of new profitability models in the industry & risk mitigation models for new ventures
·  Monitoring the financial performance of launched ventures for decision making to keep a productive and balance ventures portfolio
·  Guide Squad Teams in order to achieve higher revenue and profit with a scalable business model for PMF
·  Assist in formulating the area´s future direction through providing input on the area´s business plan, revenue management, financial strategies, budgeting, and forecasting.
·  Design and deploy processes for the launch & growth of off and on-line ventures
·  Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions
·  Design and develop new ventures models in addition to the LABBI.
·  Create the new model of data adquisition and analysis for venture potential performance evaluation
·  Evaluate new market opportunities defined by BI Design, leveraging internal and external data as new market trends to capture new business models
·  Lead venture production activities (LABBI scheduling and commercialization process, POs, Codes, SAP, inventory management, Pricing strategy)
Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

·  3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation
·  Experience leading multifunctional teams
·  Strong analytical skills and ability to manage large volumes of data (internal & external)
·  Experience in business model creation, forecasting and P/L management (from early stage to scale up products)
·  Expertise in agile and lean methodologies for project development (MVP / pivot / SCRUM minded)
·  Experience in report financial results to a board of diretors; report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
·  Advanced Excel proficiency for building and maintaining financial models
·  Experience 1 to 2 years of forecasting and inventory management.
·  English proficiency
·  Strong financial analysis modeling with VC experience (desirable)
·  SAP mid level of expertise (desirable)
·  Previous experience in new product launches and/or entrepreneurship
·  Natural curiosity and a “big picture” mentality
·  Excellent spoken and written communication and experience partnering with an executive team
·  Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions
·  Seniority to properly handle the complexities of strategic discussions (ExCom-level trade-offs, confidentiality)
·  Skillfull management of several projects in parallel, leveraging the support of close expert partners regardless of formal authority: Insights, Finance, Transformation…
·  Ability to influence and interact with senior leaders that may have varied agendas and points of view and define the business recommendations that are most appropriate from a long-term Corporate and shareholder perspective
