Job Description
As part of the Europe Strategy & Business Development team, based in Geneva, you will support critical projects to drive the sector strategy and M&A agendas and facilitate C-suite decision making.
You will:

Participate in Europe Sector strategy projects
·
Partner with Sector, Category, BU and Functional leadership and respective teams to support/drive delivery of PepsiCo Europe Strategic Priorities (e.g., Beverages/Snacks Strategic Framework, Nuts and Seeds Strategy, Bottlers optimization/negotiation, etc.)
·
Work with 3 rd party consultants on Strategic projects where appropriate.
·
Support delivery of other critical initiatives to drive improved value creation at BU and Sector level; partner with Corporate and Global Category Strategy teams to execute PEP wide Strategic initiatives within the Europe sector context.
·
Partner with Corporate Strategy and Global Groups to develop Board materials.
·
Monitor and analyse competitor results and performance to support business decision making.
·
Participate in Europe Sector M&A agenda
·
Support execution of Europe M&A pipeline and prospects defining priorities and roadmap with Europe Sector management.
·
Partner with Corporate M&A, Sector leadership, Functions, and 3 rd parties to evaluate and execute acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic partnerships.
·
Identify M&A targets or divestiture candidates. Help building comprehensive business case and rationale in partnership with BUs and Regions.
·
Design and build valuation and financial impacts models.
·
Support due diligence process across all functions. Present summary results, red flags, opportunities and attendant recommendations.
·
Prepare summary presentation materials for Europe Executive Committee, Corporate Capex Committee, PEC, and Board of Directors to drive key M&A decisions.
Qualifications/Requirements

Experience
·
Bachelor degree: Business / Economics / Finance / Engineering preferred
·
Prior experience preferred in commercial, finance, strategy, investment banking and/or M&A roles
·
P&L / financial analysis experience, understanding of business economics and drivers (e.g. pricing, fixed/variable costs, etc.)
·
Solid understanding of PepsiCo Europe business and organization (preferred)
·

Ability to confront and resolve ambiguity through structured, hypothesis lead problem solving
·
Structures work plans effectively and adapts to changing demands
·
High level of numerical and analytical skills essential – strong Excel modelling. Goes beyond the obvious to identify analytical insight within data and outline clear implications

Results oriented individual with clear definition of objectives and a focus on results
·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially PowerPoint
·
Willingness and ability to travel occasionally (including Eastern Europe)
