Overview
Working out of the Design & Innovation Centre in London, you will be responsible for supporting the WE Foods design team on a variety of design initiatives across packaging redesign, brand guidelines and shopper toolkits. As senior project manager you will be the key contact point for project management for Drive 5 brands in Europe. To deliver each project requires brilliant attention to detail, strong communication with multiple stakeholders, as well as a thorough knowledge of the design and production process are needed to succeed in this role.
You will be the key point of contact between our marketing partner’s and the company’s internal design, artwork, and production teams you will ensure projects are delivered smoothly and be accountable for building, developing, and maintaining important client relationships. You will be commercially astute and able to hit deadlines whilst managing your own workload.
In addition to the day to day Project Management responsibilities you will support the Client Services lead to plan and communicate AOP project prioriities, forecast workload for both FTE and FL and manage budget reconciliations and cross charges for all your projects. Additionally you will support your design lead to build strong, transparent relationships with our marketing and insight partner and drive our reputation as a centre of design excellence for Pepsi.
Responsibilities
Day to day responsibilities
· Day to day project management and support for specific programmes of work for the WE Foods design team.
· Responsible for regular communication between internal and cross functional teams.
· Build relationships with key contacts across the business and be consistent point of contact.
· Plan and manage project timelines, budgets and cross charges (if applicable), schedule reviews/feedback and milestone meetings.
· Plan resourcing and manage the resource tracker for projects, freelancers and artwork/production.
· Partner with Production to manage the artwork process, including proofreading and artworks checks prior to artwork release.
· Support Production by creating clear productions briefs, including SKU’S lists, master artwork templates and release timings.
· Keep full track of all your live projects and be able to give a full account of the status of each project at any given time.
· Be flexible and able to co-ordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, be self-motivated, efficient and highly organised.
Project Management tools
· Manage and maintain projects oncom, complete budget figures for quarterly reporting and coordinate design share outs when required.
· Set up/train freelancers oncom for timekeeping.
· Create freelancer bookings on YunoJuno including IR35 assessments, manage and approve Yuno Juno timesheets for freelancers.
Budget & Finance
· Attending monthly reconciliation meetings.
· Manage project budgets, cross charges and reconciliations.
· Plan accordingly with Design Lead on AOP. Updatecom AOP figures/ratecard for reporting.
· Track Yuno Juno Invoices and spend.
Qualifications
· In depth understanding of the design process, and experience managing brand design projects for FMCG clients.
· Strong technical knowledge of the print production process for packaging and point of sale.
· Ability to manage multiple large scale projects; managing priorities, showing agile and flexible thinking in response to complex project demands.
· Natural, empathetic and timely communicator, managing the flow of information both upward and downward internally and to outside agencies.
· Anticipating potential challenges to projects and proposing solutions in advance of an issue becoming a crisis.
· A strong design to control every aspect of project planning; from design objectives and outcomes, timeplans and milestones, to financial forecasting and budget control.
· Meticulous attention to detail when writing briefs, meeting reports, project updates and presentations.
